A classic game of strategy, tactics, and bluffing. Each player tries to outsmart their opponent to capture the others flag. Move your pieces and try to guess what your opponent is hiding.

Still a classic and for good reason. The rules are simple and straightforward, but there is both plenty of strategy and surprise for everyone. I loved this as a kid, and it's still a great game for adults.

An interesting game where you're actively sacrificing some pieces to gain hopefully better intelligence about your opponent than they have of you. I lost because I played too defensively. I'm sure after a few more rounds, I would improve my win rate, but it is a long enough game that I'd rather get better at a different game.
The modern game of Stratego, with its Napoleonic imagery, was originally manufactured in the Netherlands by Jumbo, and was licensed by the Milton Bradley Company for American distribution, and introduced in the United States in 1961.
